Back in the fields

The farmers are back in the fields today planting corn,etc. I hauled fertilize all day,and going to unload a potash barge tomorrow. Fertilize prices are like everything else,high,high,and higher. Diesel fuel for big trucks is over four dollars a gallon everywhere. I do not want to offend anyone,but President Bush has ruined the economy for a lot of people,and it is not over yet. Not everybody is complaining because he has made a lot of rich people richer,especially if you are in the fuel buisness,or are a supplier of weapons for the war in Iraq,Colt arms company has profited handsomely.Haliburton has made tons off of the war.
Just to show you ignorant our gov't is,did you know that all the bills for the war are paid by computer. Thats right no one looks over the bills,you bill a computer and presto,you get paid.However some watch dog group,did some spying,and one company has billed the same commode to the tune of five million.
Its sad to say,but you know there are crooked people who have captialized on this opportunity,while hundreds of our soldiers have been killed ,and a lots have lost limbs,eyes,etc.
When I left home to go to college,my dad and I went out in the back yard,and he told me that,I would discover in life that anything the Gov't had to do with,would be messed up. Forty six years later that is still true.Goose
