Amazing

I got the call about 6:45 last nite from a individual who had just passed a car on the Interstate,that appeared to have a small child driving.Dispatched officer to Interstate to try to intercept the vehicle,which was about the 37 mile Marker south bound.Fortunately the Car got off at the Portageville exit,and our officer pulled it over,and sure enough there was a nine year old black male driving the car,and his father was sitting in the passenger seat.Called Juvenile officer,and Department of family services,to come to portageville.Missouri State Highway Patrol took over the situation,with the Dad.Our officers brought the kids to the station,and they were hungry,so we fed them,and the 7 year old girl said that her dad had let her drive coming thru St.Louis,but made her quit after she almost ran in a lake.Sad,but true.
