Meanness in Portageville

Now that school has started back,hopefully some of the stealing,and breaking and entering that we have been plagued with will cease.Its sad but true,most of the breakins were done by Juveniles.They have a long future ahead of them,most likely one or two of them will do some time,when they ought to be at school learning.It all started when they took the paddle out of the teachers hands.When you have parents,who had rather be at a bar,than to be home with their kids,then trouble is brewing.
There are still some kids who are being made to work,chopping cottton,sacking groceries,and they are good kids.However those that are being raised by parents,who depend on the government to supply their needs,and are never made to work,will probably spend their entire life depending on, food stamps,and a welfare check,because that is what they grew up around.Thats sad.Then when the kids do not have money to keep up with the kids that do,they revert to stealing,and that is what has happened in Portageville this summer.Kids that were raised by concerned parents,were not the ones doing the mischevious stuff,but rather kids with dead beat dads and moms.Thats sad.Goose
