Blog and Happy New Year

We have been taking a break from the Blog,and enjoying time with our family.we will get back in gear after the first of the year.Golfing season is getting nearer along with stock car racing at Malden.Coot will be driving a different car this year.He will drive the 007 car in hobby class.Daryl Bivins owns the car,and all you race fans know him. My New Years Resolution,is to not be so critical on the blog,and to play lots of Golf.I had hoped to semi retire this year,but with the economy being the way it is,I may have to work more. I work when needed for the Portageville police dept,and the New Madrid county Sherrifs Dept.as a Dispatcher.I really enjoy doing that,especially at the county,where there is so much more going on.The Jail is there,and the Court house is a pitching wedge away.Portageville,is the only town in the county that has their own radio system,so we dispatch for all the other towns in the County.
2008 was a diificult year for all of us.All my Iras were in the stock market,and they got wiped out.Lavanna has a 401k at work,and that was invested in the stock market,and it lost a lot of its value. However we are still eating good,and all of our trust is in the good LOrd.We still have the same good friends,all of our boys are doing well,the grandkids are great,and fixin to have another one.Goose
