The Economy

The economy continues to worsen,and there is no relief in sight.The Government interest rate can not go to a minus below zero.All we can hope far is for it to get better,and I really do not understand how it can.The farmers in our area are still dealing with high in put prices,fertilize,chemicals,seed,etc.Fuel has dropped dramatically,so that helps some,but the farmers are not buying a lot of equipment. Car dealers are taking a hit,in general,salesmen are not making wages.There are no jobs in our area becoming availiable for all those who either got laid off,or were terminated.Unemployment checks are taking eight to ten weeks to get started.I think most people are sitting tight,and not spending any unneccessary money.Goose
